Financial Therapy
What is Financial Therapy?
-
Money Trauma
Money can be emotional. We all have our own thoughts and feelings about money depending on our experiences with it throughout our lives. As a Certified Financial Social Worker, I help clients identify and work through their “money stories”/money trauma to feel more neutral towards money.
-
Taking Control
It’s easy to feel like our money controls us. Through financial counseling, we learn to flip that belief and take control of our money. Whether that’s through budgeting, investing, or paying off debt, we’ll work together so you can take charge of your finances and feel in control.
-
Financial Literacy
Finances are such a huge part of our lives, and yet most of us have no idea what we’re doing! Let this be the financial education class that you never got in high school or college, and learn the basics around budgeting, credit cards, debt, etc.
-
Financial Goals
What do you want in life? How can we work together to make your finances reflect that? We all have different goals and priorities, and through a non-judgmental approach, I help clients set and achieve individualized spending goals.
